Founded in 2008, African Promise is a small but ambitious charity working to improve the quality and provision of primary education in rural Kenya by ensuring that schools are equipped to deliver an education worth having. Its holistic, whole-school development approach enhances learning environments by upgrading infrastructure, providing educational resources and opportunities and improving pupil welfare and well-being. It currently supports seven partner schools, serving 2,700 disadvantaged children, in the isolated and impoverished Kasigau region of south east Kenya. African Promise is a UK registered charity, number 1122285.
